It's always nice to know your friends are thinking of you. This is the case with Dave Williams an amazing Film Maker from Cinemacake Films. (content copied from: (http://www.earlharvey.com/) In all, the Red Ball raised $285,000, the most ever for any SEPA Chapter single day event. Guests at the annual “red tie gala” sampled culinary delights prepared by Philadelphia’s hottest chefs and for the second year got the chance to vote for their favorite restaurant. This year’s restaurant winner is The Bistro at Our Town in Exton, PA. Dana Herbert of Desserts by Danaand winner of TLC’s Next Great Baker, presented the glass award to Bistro CEO/Founder Ashley Melillo and Managing Partner Jillian Godfry. Guests danced the night away with entertainment provided by CTO World Entertainment Productions, enjoyed the museum’s exhibits, mingled with Philadelphia’s social and business leaders, bid on luxury items in the silent auction, and learned more about the mission of the Red Cross. The VIP room, sponsored by Exelon and catered by Max and Me, featured carousel rides, a cigar bar, and gift bags. All proceeds from The Red Ball directly benefit Red Cross House – The Center for Disaster Recovery, the SEPA Chapter’s one-of-a-kind short-term housing facility in West Philadelphia where hundreds of local families every year begin their recovery from fires, floods, and other disasters. The public is invited to regularly check out redcrossphilly.org or facebook.com/redcrossphilly to link to photos from and articles about the event. The Red Ball presented by ModSpace is the Southeastern Pennsylvania Chapter’s signature event for Red Cross Month. Every president since Franklin Roosevelt – in 1943 – has deemed March as National Red Cross Month. For more information, please contact Dave Schrader at 215-299-4042. I had a 50th birthday party for my wife at the Water Works Restaurant over looking boat house row and the waterfalls on the Schuylkill River. I had 150 quests from all over, we had fire works on the Schuylkill, a photo gallery, unbelievable food ~ but people are still talking about that band!! They did not stop all night. My quests are all saying it was the best party of their life and CTO Tribecca was a major reason!
